Pulsatilla vulgaris, commonly called pasque flower or prairie crocus is an early Spring blooming perennial.

It can produce a profuse amount of lovely bell-shaped blooms in white, purple, pink, yellow and blue.

After the flower is finished a soft plume-like seed head forms which provides an additional ornamental feature.

The fine fern-like silky foliage is an attractive addition throughout the entire season.

This is a fantastic plant for a fertile garden with good drainage. In cooler climates this plant will tolerate drier conditions. It will take both full sun to part shade and would be a lovely addition to any rock garden or the front of a border.

Attractive from start to finish! A perennial plant we have had great success with over the years!
